The History of Harry's Occult Shop

Harry's Occult Shop was started by Harry Seligman in 1917. He was a registered pharmacist and the business started as a pharmacy. Most of his clients were people who had just arrived from the South and would ask him for occult powders and oils. His interest was aroused and he began researching the Occult (Occult means hidden, unseen, unheard). Occult products are used to create positive energies to help bring about changes according to the intention.

Soon he was making the powders and spiritual products on the premises, designing his own labels. Only the best ingredients were used because he strived for perfections. He also enjoyed advising his customers about their problems. To this day the motto of the shop is "We Aim to Help". "Light a Torch for the Good and Cross Swords Against Evil".

In 1945 Jim took over the shop. He was an excellent business man and the store became very successful, and is still successful to this day. He helped so many people who were suffering from what we call "Conditions". Jim was a specialist in this category. When a person suffers from physical problems and no medical reason can be found for their illness, it is called a condition. Sometimes the mind can cause the body to break down, but it can also help the body to heal. If you give a person hope, and faith in a higher power, many changes can take place naturally. Harry's teaches people to use candles and other Occult Products, such as oils, incense, herbs, baths, floor wash, sachets, seals, etc. to put positive energies out there in the Universe to help change the negative blockages that are affecting the world.

Jim retired in 1997, and the shop is now run by Marcia Finnegan.

Marcia started working in 1997 as the manager of Harry's. She was trained by Jim for a period of one year, and then took over operations of the store. The store continues to help people make positive changes in their lives through White Magic, and coaching, by teaching the use of the Occult Products and how to remove negativity, help heal and make positive changes. Marcia also has a certification in Stress Management.

Reiki is hands-on-healing, like Christ and the Buddah did while they were on earth. It is the transference of Universal Life Force Energy. This healing energy help to lower blood pressure, ease pain, remove stress, balance chakra and remove negativity and spirit attachments.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a method used to communicate with the sub-conscious mind to make changes that are wanted or needed. It is done with conversation and visuals.

Hypnotherapy is used for a wide range of changes: Smoking Cessation, Weight Loss, Behavior Modification, Mind and Body Healing, Regression, Soul Healing, Past Life Regression, Memory, Stress, and many other changes.
